Welcome to the Ohio Parkinson Foundation Southwest Region Website

The Ohio Parkinson Foundation Southwest Region is a non-profit organization serving 18 counties in southwest Ohio.

The Foundations purpose is:

To encourage, promote, support, and aid research concerning the causes, prevention, and treatment of Parkinson's disease and related disorders, and be an advocate for necessary resources and services to educate and inform lay and professional people about Parkinson's disease and relate map d disorders, including the needs of patients, caregivers, and their families. To encourage and assist in the formation of Parkinson support and exercise groups and be a resource center for existing Parkinson support and exercise groups providing opportunities for combined support/exercise group meetings. To serve as a clearing and referral center and to identify the needs of Parkinson patients and families, inform others about these needs and collect data as needed. To work with other national, state, and local organizations with similar health concerns and support projects which further the purpose/objectives of the Southwest Region of Ohio.
